Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System needs laundry and linen exchange services across five facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Furnishing all laundering, linen supply, rental items, delivery carts, and related services for VA hospital and clinic facilities. Services include processing of soiled linens, delivery of clean linens, and equipment maintenance per industry standards (ALM, DCLI, TRSA).

• Must meet Joint Commission sanitary standards with separate clean/soiled processing areas (barrier wall, positive/negative air pressure)
• Must comply with Association for Linen Management, Dry Cleaning and Laundry Institute, and TRSA standards
• Must provide all vehicles, fuels, and maintenance for pickups/deliveries
• Must furnish all rental linen items and delivery carts at no charge to VA
• Must be open to government inspection of sanitary conditions
• Must perform emergency services as defined by Contracting Officer Representative
