Terms of Service

Last updated: June 5, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BidQuill, operated by BidQuill ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What BidQuill is

BidQuill is an information and alerting service that surfaces publicly available U.S. government contracting opportunities, summarizes them, and (on paid tiers) helps you prepare responses. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Government, SAM.gov, or any agency.

2. Not professional advice

Our briefs, fit scores, checklists, outlines, and drafts are decision-support tools, not legal, financial, or professional advice, and do not guarantee that you will win, be eligible for, or be awarded any contract. You are responsible for verifying every detail against the official solicitation before relying on it or submitting a bid.

3. Your account

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your account information current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the security of the magic links we email you. Do not share access links with people who shouldn't have your account's data.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of BidQuill is also governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don't scrape, resell, or redistribute our content; don't abuse the service or attempt to break its security.

5. Payment, renewal, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor (Stripe) until canceled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges and you keep access through the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. We may change prices with notice; changes apply to future billing periods.

6. Intellectual property

The BidQuill service, brand, and the briefs and deliverables we generate for you are provided for your own business use. Underlying government notices are public records. You may use deliverables to prepare your own bids; you may not resell or redistribute BidQuill content as a competing service.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

BidQuill is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. See our Disclaimers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BidQuill's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for missed deadlines, lost bids, or indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may stop using BidQuill anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Questions: support@bidquill.com.
