VA needs a contractor to install medical and instrument air compressors for surgical and endoscopy cabinets at a VA hospital facility.

Install compressors for SPS cabinets in surgery hallway, surgery room, and endoscopy scope room. Work includes piping routing (including potential core drilling through floors), negative air containment systems compliant with ICRA Level IV controls, and cabinet mounting on both hard and drop ceilings.

• Must comply with 2024 NFPA 99 Standards for medical gas systems
• Must hire and pay for third-party verifier/tester for final inspection
• Must coordinate all work through VA Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
• Must submit RFI for approval before any after-hours work
• normal hours are Monday–Friday 0700–1700 unless CO-approved
• Performance and payment bonds required (no bid bond for RFQ)
• Installation must meet ICRA Activity Category D control measures with negative air exhausted to building exterior via HEPA filters
