McConnell AFB seeks qualified construction firms to register for a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) delivering design-build, renovation, and infrastructure projects on base in Kansas.

A sources-sought notice for a multi-year, multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) construction contract at McConnell AFB. Task orders (up to $10M each) will cover design-build projects, renovations, new construction, and infrastructure repair/replacement including roadways, taxiways, runways, and building systems. Contractors must provide full design services across multiple trades (carpentry, demolition, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, concrete, masonry, welding, paving).

Capability statement limited to 12 pages, submitted in writing only by 4:00 PM CST on 27 June 2025

Ideal bidder: Multi-trade construction firms with design-build and full-spectrum construction capability, particularly Small Business, 8(a), WOSB, VOSB, SDVOSB, or HUBZone-certified contractors with demonstrated federal or military infrastructure and building experience.

Est. value: $99,000,000 total potential value over six or more years; individual task orders up to $10,000,000 each (firm-fixed-price, competitively awarded among MACC holders). Base period 12 months with option periods to be determined.

Eligibility: Currently full and open, but the Government is actively seeking responses from small business and disadvantaged-business categories (Small, 8(a), WOSB, VOSB, SDVOSB, HUBZone). Depending on responses received, the final solicitation may be set aside to a specific small business category with exclusion of other concerns, or may remain unrestricted if adequate small business competition is not found.
