The Department of Energy Office of General Counsel seeks vendors to digitize approximately 2,000 boxes of classified and unclassified federal records on-site at the DOE Forrestal building in Washington, DC.
On-site digitization of approximately 2,000 boxes of classified and unclassified paper records into NARA-compliant digital formats suitable for integration into a Commercial Off-the-Shelf Electronic Records Management (ERM) system. All work must be performed on-site at the DOE Forrestal building; records cannot be transported off-site.
- Personnel must possess DOE Q security clearance to handle classified records
- Demonstrated experience with federal government on-site digitization projects of similar scale (2,000+ boxes)
- Compliance with NARA standards (36 CFR Part 1236 Subpart E) for digitizing permanent federal records
- Secure chain-of-custody protocols and physical security procedures for classified and unclassified records
- Portable scanning equipment certified for use in classified processing environments with documented security certifications
