Department of Defense needs 17 specialized chemical cleaning baskets with PTFE/PFA coating and stainless steel support for use at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
Purchase of 17 chemical cleaning baskets with 8-chamber design, PTFE and PFA coatings (1/4" thick), 316 stainless steel support structure (1/4" thick), and internal chamber dimensions of 6" x 7" (24" L x 15" W x 24.5" H overall).
- Baskets must be chemically compatible with Cee-Bee 300LF, Cee-Bee 7x7 aqueous alkaline cleaners and Cee-Bee J84-AL highly alkaline cleaner at temperatures up to 170°F
- All welds must be smooth and free of sharp edges or protrusions to prevent damage to coating or fan blades
- Coating must exhibit excellent chemical resistance and prevent warping or solution contamination under normal use
- Basket design must allow efficient drainage of cleaning solutions after immersion
- Contractor must submit detailed drawing for DoD approval prior to manufacturing
