FCI Oxford - Emergency Replace Education Chair Lift
Federal Bureau of Prisons (FCI Oxford, Wisconsin) needs emergency demolition and replacement of an inoperable education department chair lift with a new ADA-compliant inclined platform lift system.
Demolition of existing education chair lift and furnishing/installation of new ADA-compliant inclined platform lift (Garaventa GSL Artira or equal) with complete platform assembly, electrical integration, backup power, safety features, and all testing/commissioning. Work includes disconnecting existing electrical service, site safety planning, and compliance documentation. 140-calendar-day performance period.
- Must be registered in SAM.gov as a small business under NAICS 238290 with size metrics ≤$19 million
- Installation must be performed by manufacturer-certified technicians
- Must provide specification sheet and detailed submittal information in quotation
- All work must comply with ASME A18.1, ADA-ABA requirements, NFPA, NEC, and all applicable Federal, State, and local codes
